      Description

I asked my students to write a class with several static methods. Some of the methods took a long integer as input. When they tried to test the static methods individually (by right-clicking on the class icon, choosing a static method to run, and entering a 16-digit number as an argument), the pop-up window would not accept a long (rather than int) integer in the argument box. The message was:
Error: integer number too large 1234123412341234
