Dot isn't counted as word separator

      Description

If you have code like abc.def.ghi and do ctrl-left/right on Windows, it does not treat the dot as a word separator, and the whole lot is skipped in one go. Given this is Java, we should treat dot as a word separator.

Oddly enough, this behaviour is different in Mac (where dot works) to Windows and Linux. I suspect this is because of the way we've overridden the shortcut to be alt-left/right on Mac; we may not be calling exactly the same function as the built-in binding does on Windows and Linux.
